Optimization of a Truck Fleet and Driver Management System
Fridenson is one of Israel’s leading and most established companies in logistics and international shipping. The goal of this challenge it to establish an automated, dynamic and intelligent truck fleet and driver management system. An external system for managing and optimizing drivers’ schedules, that will interface with the current scheduling system (Express Schedule Employee). The system will support frequent changes in real-time due to elements such as traffic congestion.

Due to frequent changes (traffic congestion, non-arrivals, etc.) and unpredictable factors - there is a need for a dynamic and automated system for managing and optimizing drivers’ schedules.
The goal is to establish an optimized and automated scheduling system for a truck fleet and its drivers, in order to improve efficiency.

The technological solution will be funded. More information will be presented on May 18, 2021 at the EcoMotion Week challenges stage.
Potential business opportunities and collaboration with Fridenson company and the Israel Smart Mobility consortium.
Participants will have the opportunity to join the Israel Smart Mobility Living Lab Consortium. The membership enables access to the ISMLL innovation marketplace for partner discovery and project deployment, as well as networking opportunities with leading mobility players.
Participants will have the opportunity to access the ISMLL’s data platform, which includes private and public data sets.
